CSIR TKDL Recruitment 2025, Apply for Project Associate & Senior Project Associate

CSIR TKDL Recruitment 2025: The CSIR-Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) Unit, a part of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, invites online applications for the temporary engagement of Project Staff under its ongoing projects on digitization of traditional Indian knowledge systems. The positions are for Project Associate-I (Patents) and Senior Project Associate (Sanskrit) under two projects related to traditional agricultural practices and mineral/metal-based knowledge systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in science, engineering, intellectual property, or Sanskrit to contribute to the preservation and protection of India’s vast traditional knowledge base in a scientific manner. The engagement is purely on a contractual basis, initially up to 31st March 2026, extendable based on performance till 31st March 2027.

CSIR TKDL Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

1. Project Associate-I (Patents)

• Post Codes: TKA01 (Agriculture), TKM01 (Metals/Materials)
• Number of Posts: 2
• Qualification: Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Natural Sciences or BE/B.Tech in Engineering/Technology
• Desirable: PG Diploma in IPR, Patent Informatics/Analytics, good English skills, experience in agriculture, minerals, metals, or related fields
• Age Limit: 35 years (relaxable as per GoI rules)
• Monthly Emoluments:
  • ₹31,000 + HRA (with NET/GATE/qualifying national exams)
  • ₹25,000 + HRA (others)

2. Senior Project Associate (Sanskrit)

• Post Codes: TKA02, TKM02
• Number of Posts: 2
• Qualification:
  • Master’s in Sanskrit with 3 years’ R&D experience, or
  • Ph.D. in Sanskrit with 2 years’ R&D experience
• Age Limit: 40 years (relaxable as per GoI rules)
• Monthly Emoluments: ₹42,000 + HRA

Date of Written Test: 10th June 2025 at 9:00 AM

CSIR TKDL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

• Written Test will be held at CSIR-TKDL Unit, New Delhi.
• Interview will be conducted in hybrid mode (online/offline) on the same or following day based on results.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of test.
• A merit-based waitlist will be prepared valid for 1 year.

• Candidates must meet essential qualifications by 6th June 2025.
• Final semester students or those awaiting results are not eligible.
• All uploaded documents must be legible and in required format.
